The topic for the final was: ‘A great leader can change the world in an instant’

The event was held at Vörösmarty Mihály Gimnázium, Budapest, Horánszky u. 11, 1085.   Borszéki Judit  from the ESU in Hungary worked tirelessly to ensure that the schools involved were contacted and informed. The overall organiser, MC and sponsor was Steve Jones.

All participants received participation medals both in the junior and senior sections. Book prizes from Jobbagy Ilona were also given to the senior finalists. In addition the winner received the same medal in gold and the runner up in silver. The winner also receives an engraved plaque )example below) and will attend the final in London on 17th May. The name of the winner is also engraved on the competition shield (third shield – 1st from 2003, 2nd from 2012, 3rd from 2022) which will be offered for display at the venue.
