The competition tool place at Ady Endre School in Ráckeve.
The winning team was from the Kossuth Lajos Gyakorló Gimnázium in Debrecen.
The three books on which the whole competition was based were “No comebacks”, “Tess of the Durbervilles” and “Goldfinger”. Somestudents managed to run all three together with interesting results.
After judging the competition with Vanik Petra from MacMillans and a former pupil of the school, Steve did a mixture of songs including “the Keeper”, “Rattlin’ Bog” and “Auld Lang Syne” to give time for the scores to be calculated and displayed.
The competition was in several sections. There were written tests including a listening comprehension and also a poster display and a ‘mini’ play.
