Wednesday 15th July – Slavery and spiritual/gospel music – singing and discussion (looking at song words in context – should we ban the use of songs based on prejudice, which give offence or should we discuss them and understand why they do. Discussing problem icons: the swastika, National flags e.g the Confederate flag in the USA)
